Gnat's Landing Statesboro

Really enjoyed the atmosphere here! The drinks were good. I had the trust me and it was delicious! My family had the quesadilla, steak/chicken/shrimp nachos, gnat sampler (chicken wings, crab balls, mozzarella sticks and chicken tenders) and I had the shrimp and grits. All were good, I would have preferred the shrimp to be a little more done but other than that we would be back!

I got onion rings and Caesar salad. My daughter got quesadilla . Food was mediocre at best . The onion rings really had no flavor and very greasy / soggy. I like crispy crunchy rings. The salad was flat , wilted no crunch . The croutons were good . Maybe I didn’t get the right meal but If I could get my money back I would’ve . Decent atmosphere, cool venue. But food was … meh .

My recent visit to Gnat's Landing Statesboro was an absolute pleasure, and I can see why it's such a beloved spot. As someone new to the area, it was one of my first stops, and I haven't been able to stop going back since! It truly stands out amongst other places I've tried. The food here is simply delicious. I took Brooklyn's suggestion and tried the blackened shrimp with creamy grits, and it was a revelation – perfectly cooked shrimp with just the right amount of spice, complemented by the rich, creamy grits. I also indulged in the hot buffalo wings and the seasoned fries, both of which were incredibly tasty and satisfying. Every single dish I've ordered has been absolutely delicious, and I've even discovered new favorites I never thought I'd enjoy. Beyond the fantastic food, the atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, with a great college vibe. The service was consistently on point; the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. I particularly loved the outside seating options, whether you prefer shade or sun. It’s a perfect spot to enjoy a meal, especially when the weather is nice on their great patio. Gnat's Landing delivers a 10 out of 10 experience every single time, from the friendly people to the outstanding food.

My friends and I have made it a tradition to come out to gnats every Wednesday for karaoke. This week we were served by Jacie who is always great with providing service and making sure we are taken care of. I only got a brownie sundae (which is delicious) this week, but all of their foods are worth a try!

We decided to try this place after reading the good reviews and weren't disappointed. The service and the food was great. The ambiance was great as well. We really enjoyed our time here. I got the Chicken Parmesan Sammy and my wife got "The Bruce" Hamburger Steak with Broccoli. Both meals were excellent and at great prices too!

First time trying this restaurant. Early dinner...5 pm. One other table in our dining room. Almost every employee we saw looked to be college age! Nice server but not particularly attentive. We had to search him out for our bill. Food was a bit slow arriving. Nice decor, large dining rooms. Husband got the fried shrimp. It mostly tasted like the batter. Not bad but bland. He said the onion rings and broccoli were very good. Hush puppies ok. I got the crab cakes. You can tell by the picture that they were flat as a pancake and a bit charred. Interesting taste. Nothing exceptional. Tater tots were good! Okra was very good. Dinner was ok. Plenty to eat. I was full but not satisfied. Probably a one and done. But hey... all day Sunday Happy Hour!

Great food! My return to GA SOUTHERN for family day with my niece was awesome! This spot of reasonable w a great outdoor atmosphere. Kade was a great server and the drinks were 10/10. I graduated in 2001 and this place was not here…I think Snooky’s was the old spot-uncertain. In any case, the new vibes are EVERYTHING! Great spot!!! Defiantly go! You won’t regret it.

The google reviews were great so I decided to try it!! I was greeted by a warm smile from the hostess as I entered the door. Not long after I was seated I was greeted by my waitress Tori who explained all the specials and asked if I had any questions. She took my drink order and food order quickly and the drink and food were delivered very quickly!! The shrimp and grits were amazing!! So creamy with lots of flavor and the shrimp were blackened to perfection!! Not everyone knows how to blacken food correctly!! The yuenglings were ice cold. I highly recommend this place. Sadly today I am surprised when I get a good meal and great service!!
